Bollywood actresses Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora have tested positive for Covid-19, and Mumbai's civic body Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has ordered RT-PCR tests for all those who came in contact with them.

As per a report by a news agency, the BMC further claimed that Kareena and Amrita had violated the Covid protocols and attended several parties. In the wake of rising cases of the Omicron variant of Covid-19 in Maharashtra, large gatherings have been banned in the state. Kareena Kapoor and Amrita Arora were recently seen at a party in Mumbai hosted by Anil Kapoor’s daughter Rhea Kapoor.

“One woman show. What a meal. GOLD. Thank you my darling Rhea #veeres for life,” Kareena had captioned a story on her Instagram handle alongside a picture from the party. Kareena’s sister Karisma Kapoor, Malaika Arora, and Masaba Gupta had also attended the event.
