After ‘Kathavarayan’, Karan is playing the lead role in a movie titled ‘Malayan’. Directed by a debutant Gopi, the movie brings together Karan and Udhayathara after ‘Thee Nagar’.

Speaking about the movie, Karan says, 'It is a story set in a rural milieu. Gopi has enough talent and I am confident that ‘Malayan’ would become a hit'.

Upbeat at the positive reviews for his recent release ‘Kathavarayan’, he says, ' It carried a strong message against liquor and drugs. I am happy it was received well by the masses'.
