Director Karan Malhotra's upcoming period action drama 'Shamshera' is one of the most anticipated and exciting films of Bollywood. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor, 'Shamshera' has created a considerable hype around itself with its poster and trailer releases.

Due to its elaborate action sequences, brown and tan colour palette and overall rough and rugged feel, the film is being compared to 'KGF' franchise and HBO TV show 'Game Of Thrones'. During a recent media event, director Karan Malhotra responded to these comparisons and stated that people should wait for the finished product before comparing it.

He said, “Game of Thrones se comparison karna achi baat hain aur KGF, wo bhi chalega. Compare bhi tab kijiye jab dekh li ho picture. I think that way you’ll get a clearer perspective and be the best judge. Hopefully when they watch the film, they enjoy it and not cast the shadow of any other project on Shamshera."

'Shamshera' is set to release theatrically on 22nd of July.
