Karan Johar's chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’ is a fan favorite, and an exciting new season has been announced. He announced in a recent interview that the show will return in 2025 with more entertaining and open chats.

The eighth season premiered last year with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone as the first guests. Karan discussed next season plans with Sucharita Tyagi. He said they'll return in 2025 after a year break.

Karan also discussed revamping the show after last season's "boring rapid fire" segment was panned. He laughed, "I thought, ‘why am I even doing this?’" No questions. Maybe we should drop the rapid fire and I'll take the hamper since no one deserves it. I say let's alter Koffee with Karan with the ninth season. It will return with pleasure and chattiness."

He said celebs are more careful and don't open up anymore. Past guests like Mahesh Bhatt were frank, he remembered. "Bhatt sahab's nature allows him to respond me. But I might get in trouble. You called him and got these replies. Why did you not edit?" Karan jokes.

Last year's cast included Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Sharmila Tagore, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor. Fans eagerly await Karan's fresh surprises when the show returns.
