Karan Johar's Candid Confession: Obsessed with Infidelity in Film

Karan Johar is a Bollywood star whose movies have always amused his audience with full zest and zeal. He is the one famous for romanticizing romance. Some of his outstanding creations are Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Today, Johar revealed something very interesting that has become the talk of town: cheating.
In 2006, Johar directed Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, which focused on infidelity. In an interaction with Prabal Gurung, he said that he had a fascination for the subject and also about the feedback that he received after making a movie on it. He stressed the fact that he was not promoting infidelity but rather was trying to explore its emotions. What fascinated him was what he called 'the overall concept of infidelity' in life.
In the same conversation, Johar shared an inspiring point from his own life. He narrated how a member of his family stricken with dementia one day remembered a love from years ago, and this turned out to be the inspiration for a sequence featuring Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. As dramatic as he confessed it to be in real life, he found this aspect very interesting and truly gripping.
Currently, Karan Johar is enjoying the applause for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, and gearing up for his next film, Kill. His acumen for handling delicate emotions and relationships through films remains a game changer in Bollywood.
