He narrated how a member of his family stricken with dementia one day remembered a love from years ago, and this turned out to be the inspiration for a sequence featuring Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi in "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani." As dramatic as he confessed it to be in real life, he found this aspect very interesting and truly gripping.
