'Jersey', unarguably one of the most-layered Telugu films of the decade, is going to be remade in Hindi. If some early reports are to be believed, Dharma Productions' Karan Johar has successfully laid his hands on the remake rights.
Karan Johar's tryst with Telugu film talent is nothing new. He was the first Bollywoodian to understand the potential of 'Baahubali'. It's said that he wants to rope in Gowtam Tinnanuri, the one who directed the Telugu original, for the Hindi remake as well. Gowtam is relatively a fresher in Tollywood and his going to Bollywood will be special.
Nani might be reprised by Shahid Kapoor, some speculative reports are saying. The actor is currently on a cloud nine after the humongous openings that 'Kabir Singh' has taken.
