He pulled all strings and the icing on the cake was having Karan Johar on board. The B-Town filmmaker was able to push the film to the masses and get the best possible result.
Rajamouli was able to leverage on Karan's popularity and was able to make the epic drama the cynosure of all eyes. Even the B-Town celebs could not stop raving about the Baahubali. Today, if Baahubali was able to make it to 100 cr, ascribe it to Karan Johar's ability to use his clout and promote the film on all the right platforms.
