Karan Johar announces the birth of his twins

Just about a month ago Bollywood heavy weight producer-director Karan Johar conceded that he is gay  through his autobiographical novel ‘A Suitable Boy’.  Yesterday he announced that "I am ecstatic to share with you all the two most wonderful additions to my life, my children and lifelines; Roohi and Yash."

The children were born through a surrogate mother, about whom he has said “has fulfilled my lifelong dream and provided a warm, loving and nurturing environment to my children before bringing them into this world. She will always remain in my prayers.”  Karan has promised to be the best parent to his kids who will be his priority over work and other commitments.  He has said that his mother Hiroo Johar will be the pillar in bringing the babies up.
