Actor Karan took resolutions to follow safety measures while driving on roads as apart of the Road Safety Week event that happened at Chellammal Womens College in Guindy.
Addressing the crowd, actor Karan said, Its appalling news that Indias top the charts of Maximum Road Accidents, about which something has to be done This is noteworthy that we find merely men are involved in road accidents, but eventually end up jeopardizing the lives of women and children as well
Pertaining to this context of road accidents, Karans eyes were brimmed with tears as he spoke about the death of a 21-yrs old guy, passing away due to severe accident across the lanes of OMR.
The young man wouldve been amongst us alive if he had used a helmet, said the actor with tears in his eyes.
Adding more about road safety measures, Karan insisted that women can bring about changes and improvements. He requested everyone to be sure about not using cell phones while driving on roads. Precisely, the actor called for the attention on how women and girls are carelessly wearing their veils loose on air. As well he insisted them to be careful while driving as Drink and Drive rates have considerably increased in recent times.
If women cohorts start questioning against rash driving and unsafe acts on the roads, there will lots of transcendence, said Karan.
Karan didnt fail to bring awareness about the piracy of Jaggubhai as he said, K S Ravikumar couldnt express his grief in words as he broke in tears . I kindly request the public to make sure that everyone watches the film in theatre and makes it successful.
Soon after the event, Karan distributed the leaflets of road safety measures and the young students in college were filled with excitements on noticing his kind gestures.
