Pawan Kalyan has said that the YSRCP government has not done the right thing by stopping Amaravati and Polavaram works in its attempt to probe into the irregularities committed during the TDP regime. "Because of the stoppage of works, about 20,000 workers have lost direct and indirect employment," the Jana Sena chief said.
He also said that he didn't want to criticize the government until the completion of 100 days in office. Pawan went on to say that construction workers have been left without livelihood for want of sand for building activities.
As for the Kapu reservation issue, Pawan asked why it's not possible to find a solution to it when solutions to Telangana and Kashmir have been found. He accused the YS Jaganmohan Reddy government of viewing the Kapu quota issue as a political one. "This government is only interested in reversing whatever the previous government did," he said.
Pawan added that a decision on whether to go with allies for local body polls is yet to be taken. He also exuded confidence when he said that his party may have won just one seat now but it will eventually form the government in the State one day.
