What was supposed to be just another low budget movie, got bigger and better after the midas touch of Director Shankar. Karthik G Krish, who apprenticed Shankar has stepped out of his guru’s camp after ‘Enthiran’ and carried ‘Kappal’s script for more than 2 years. Jai/Sivakarthikeyan was the initial choice for Karthik, but the movie finally fell on the lap of Vaibhav, who is yet to prove his mettle as a solo hero.
Cast:
Debutante Sonam Bajwa is paired opposite to Vaibhav while crowd’s favorite VTV Ganesh will be seen in a full fledged comical role. Karunakaran and Arjunan will be taking care of the rest of the screen space.
Technical team:
Natrajan Shankaran, who made his debut with ‘Moodar Koodam’ has impressed one and all with a new age album, especially ‘Kaadhal Casatta’ is doing many rounds in the FM stations. Ace editor Anthony has put the frames together, which is captured by Dinesh Krishnan.
Pre-release buzz:
The moment Shankar took over the project under his S pictures, the movie attracted many buyers. A single track was released at Express Avenue with the presence of Siva Karthikeyan and a Sharkar-esque audio launch took place which was attended by A.R. Rahman, Vijay, and Vikram. The movie is scheduled to release for Christmas.
