Kapil Sharma's 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon' slapped with copyright infringement

Tv populat comedian big screen dream Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon is slapped by copyright infringement.
A case has being filed in Madras High Court and the complainant claims that the film's script has been copied from the 2014 Kannada film Nimbe Huli.
The is helmed by director duo Abbas Mustan and is produced by Rao Hasnain, Ganesh Jain and Ratan Jainastan.
The movie stars Kapil Sharma, Elli Avram, Arbaaz Khan and Varun Sharma in lead roles.
Apparently Kapil's film's script is not an adaptation of the Kannada film, it is a blatant copy of the same. Director of Nimbe Huli Hemanth Hegde says that his film's rights are with a Tamil director who is planning on remaking the movie in that language. However, the makers of KKKPK have not bought the rights of the film from the Kannada filmmaker. Hegde wishes to slap plagiarism charges on the makers of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon.
Ratan Jain, who has produced the Kapil Sharma film was quoted saying, "We had registered the script for KKKPK with the screenwriters association back in 2008 along with the dialogues of the film as well, while Nimbe Huli released in 2014. So effectively proving that my film was ready much before Nimbe Huli, so how can KKKPK be a copy?"
He also said, "As of now I have not received any formal proceedings of a case being filed, nor have I watched the Kannada film. In fact I am trying to get my hands on a copy of the film to gain a better picture of this."
The hearing of the case is on September 22. Stay tuned for more on this.
