Kapil Sharma mourns the demise of Pakistani comedian Umer Sharif 

Veteran comedy legend of Pakistan, Umer Sharif breathed his last yesterday in Amsterdam. The news has left his fans and appreciators in huge shock. Popular comedian Kapil Sharma took to Twitter to express his condolences on this grave event. Sharing a picture of Umer Sharif, Kapil wrote, "Alvida legend ??may your soul Rest In Peace #UmerShareef." Randeep Hooda also expressed his grief by tweeting, "Thank you for the great laughs. Rest in applause."

Umer Sharif was giant in the field of comedy. He passed away after prolonged heart illness in Germany. He had undergone bypass surgery last year and following that, his condition worsened. He was confined to a wheelchair and was also diagnosed with memory loss.

The news of Umer Sharif's demise was shared by Pakistan's ambassador to Germany, Dr Mohammad Faisal, who tweeted, “With deep sorrow it is announced that Mr. Umer Sharif has passed away. In #Germany. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends. Our CG is present at the hospital to assist the family in every way.”
