Kiccha Sudeep's friendship with ex-Indian cricket captain and all-time great Kapil Dev is growing stronger day by day. The two had recently spent time together while promoting the Hindi film 83, which is based on India's real-life World Cup victory in 1983. Sudeep had presented the film in Kannada and was seen having a good time with Kapil Dev, Ranveer Singh, and other celebrities.

Now the former Indian skipper Kapil Dev has gifted the actor with a vintage bat which had the signatures of all the team members like Sunny Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri, Krishnamachari Srikanth, Mohinder Amarnath, and many others who won the World Cup for the country in 1983.

The excited Kichcha Sudeep took to Twitter and wrote, “Wohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! What a Sunday .. thank uuuu @therealkapildev sirrrrr for this hugeeeeeee surprise I’m waking to”. Not stopping there, Sudeep went on to write, “Wowwww… wasn’t expecting this. This a classic piece, and I’m right now feeling on top of the world. Thank you thank you”.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kiccha is awaiting the release of his upcoming film Vikrant Rona. Directed by Anup Bhandari, the movie's trailer, which was released two days ago, received a tremendous response.
