'Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante', starring Dulquer Salmaan and directed by Desingh Periyasamy, last week saw the addition of more than 65 theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The likes of Sunil Narang, who is among the film's important exhibitors, have been in for a surprise by the way the romantic thriller is holding itself up.

"Content matters the most when it comes to genres like this one. In a long time, people have got to watch a bona fide romantic thriller that has got strong characterizations and a gripping screenplay. that's why 'KKD' has become a sleeper hit," a source in the know says.

With Gautham Menon in a very interesting role, the film also stars Ritu Varma, Rakshan, and Niranjani Ahathian. Harshavardhan Rameshwar's background score and KM Bhaskaran's cinematography have played a key role in the success.
