Kantara song faces plagiarism allegations

'Varaha Roopam' is composed by Ajaneesh B Lokesh, who has also sung it. On YouTube, the song has been trending for the past five days by clocking more than 12 million views. The song from 'Kantara' has been a massive chartbuster. The climactic song has been instrumental in deepening the viewer's experience. The song, however, is accused of having been lifted from an album made by Kerala's Thaikkudam Bridge in 2015. 'Navarasam' is the title of the song that has allegedly been copied by the music director of 'Kantara'.

Bridge has accused the makers of 'Kantara' of committing copyright infringement. Ever since he threatened to sue Hombale Films, 'Navarasam' has been in the news.

Listeners are listening to 'Navarasam' hard and fast. They are checking out if there are any similarities between the two songs.

Meanwhile, the Hindi version of 'Kantara' has netted Rs 24.15 Cr in India. This is going to be one of the biggest-ever Hindi-dubbed hits in the history of Indian cinema. In Telugu, the Rishab Shetty-starrer is doing great, letting the Diwali releases to play the second fiddle.
