At a time when 'Kantara' is posting startling figures at the box office, it has been screened at the Isha Yoga Center in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore for the benefit of inmates. The same had the approval of Jaggi Vasudev, who is the leader of the Isha Foundation.
Sharing the update, the ashram said, "A team from Hombale Films graciously arranged a special screening of the film at Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore on the festive occasion of Diwali. A special thanks to Hombale Films and Rishab Shetty for making this happen."
The film, starring and directed by Rishab Shetty, is expectedly receiving the support of several spiritually-inclined individuals and organizations across the country. In a review of the film, columnist Sandeep Krishnarao Patil wrote for Firstpost, "Kantara is a full embracement of our Samskriti and Sanskar. It is an unapologetic portrayal of our heritage and traditions. A movie such as Kantara has set a high benchmark for all filmmakers to follow."
'Kantara' is a blockbuster in Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi.
