'Kantara': Allu Aravind announces Telugu release date

The Telugu version of the Kannada blockbuster 'Kantara' will hit the screens on October 15. Allu Aravind has acquired the Telugu-dubbed rights from Hombale Films of 'KGF' and 'Salaar' fame. Producer Vijay Kiragandur's film is coming from Geetha Distribution Films after Dhanush's 'Nene Vasthunna' recently.
Starring Rishab Shetty, 'Kantara' stands for a mystical forest as per the action thriller's story. Also written and directed by Shetty, the film has Sapthami Gowda as the heroine. Kishore is seen as a forest officer, while Achyuth Kumar, Pramod Shetty, Shanil Guru, and Prakash Thuminad have other roles.
Arvind S Kashyap has cranked the camera, while the film is edited by KM Prakash and Pratheek Shetty. B Ajaneesh Loknath's music, especially the climax song, has been highly lauded.
'Kantara' has been receiving applause from different quarters. Celebs and film critics alike have been describing it in glorious terms. "The film is a glorious cinematic achievement!
