In a bizarre incident in Kansas, USA, reports say a man used the life insurance money he received from his wife to purchase a life-sized sex doll worth Rs 1.6 lakh. Reports indicate that Colby Trickle received over $120,000, nearly Rs 1 crore, from life insurance policies his wife, Kristen Trickle, had taken out. Just a couple of days after getting the money, he made the troubling purchase.
According to CBS News, the tragedy struck on Halloween morning in 2019, after Colby called 911 to report that Kristen, 26, had shot herself in the head at their Hays home. But responding officer Sergeant Brandon Hauptman detected discrepancies in Colby's story, kindling suspicions.
Investigators added that the gun was too large for her to have held, and they found her only in her underwear. Though the suicide ruling by Dr. Lyle Noordhoek did not change, the investigators found the possibility unacceptable. They said they were not yet willing to give up suspicion that Colby could be responsible for his wife's death.
