Sashi Kumar is a talented actor who played the LTTE separatist in the war drama, 'Kannathil Muthamittal'. Though he was well appreciated for his performance in this film he didn't have a future in the film industry. But he is recognised by netizens now as his tweets and videos are becoming viral on social media platforms.
While many are wanting him to give a come back in the film industry we did an exclusive interview with him and he opened up about his journey in the film industry, his struggles, criticism and his upcoming projects.
Sashi began his career as a serial artist. He played a prominent role in the famous serial 'Chithi'. He then made his film debut through the movie 'Aanandham' and also acted in few other films but his acting went unnoticed. In the interview with us, he stated that he did not quit the film industry and is waiting for a decent role.
when speaking on the criticism and trolls he received, he said " People say that am an alcoholic. I am a trained fighter and I don't fight first unless I am being attacked. And as for trolls I don't care about people who trolls me with a hidden identity"
He also stated that he still manages to live a steady life and uses the opportunities that come to him as a source to get into good films. He was last seen in the 2014 movie 'Megha'.
