Even before the release Kannada film ‘Seizer’ kicked up a row for the dialogue ‘Cow slaughter is akin to pimping mother’ – this is the dialogue from V Ravichandran in the film.
Objections came from Prakash Rai, co actor of the film it is understood. Producer Trivikram Sapalya and director Vinay Krishna kept quiet for some time on the issue. Director Vinay Krishna also told Prakash Rai has no business to react on this issue.
On Wednesday evening the expected has happened. V Ravichandran and Prakash Rai best friends seem to have had discussion o this issue. A telephone call from V Ravichandran to director Vinay Krishna asked for mute of that particular dialogue. Vinay Krishna budged to the call of Ravichandran and contacted regional censor board for necessary changes.
In the social media this dialogue has become a big discussion. Most of the people who reacted urged director Vinay Krishna to retain the title. We would not come to the theatre if that particular dialogue is deleted was a few more people reaction.
The film ‘Seizer’ is finally releasing on Friday with mute for the dialogue. Writing dialogues for Prakash Rai films for other characters also a director has to be very careful now.
