Title – KIDI, Producers – BT Mallikarjunaiah and R Dhananjay, Direction – Raghu S, Music – Emil, Cinematography – Benaka Raju, Cast – Bhuvan Chandra, Pallavi, Danny Kuttappa, Ugram Manju, Pawan, Yathiraj, Mamamohan Rai, Kavya and others.
This is a spark of good progress of actor Bhuvan Chandra and Pallavi. Both are making debut. They have long future. While Bhuvan Chandra shines in fiery role, beautiful looking Pallavi gets marks for her tearful role. Director Raghu S also making debut from this Malayalam ‘Kali’ to ‘Kidi’ shines in parts.
For already angry young boy, the situations further add further fuel to fire situation. Despite of anger at the tip of nose Pallavi marries Bhuvan soon after education much against to the elders. It is a comfortable job that makes this couple to watch. It is not when wrong things are happening around Bhuvan life. For every bit in life he irks Pallavi from his hanger. All attempts of Pallavi to bring a different mindset to husband goes in vain. It is a break up situation in the life of young couple because of ‘spark’ for every small disturbance.
Bhuvan decide to drop Pallavi to her parent’s house. On the way to Agumbe a few accidents takes place. Situations are villain in the scenes that lead to climax. Finally it is reuniting of the estranged couple.
Pallavi performance in this film would lead her to good ranking in the Kannada filmdom. She is beautiful and cheerful. Bhuvan Chandra has all qualities of action hero strength. He fits the role precisely.
In the supporting roles Ugram Chandru, Danny Kuttappa, Yathiraj gives good support. There is one good tune from Emil alias Farhan Roshan. Cinematography of Benakaraju not comes up with anything special.
This is a film for all young couple – anger in life is not the solution.
Rating – 3/5
