The annual celebration of Kannada cinema birthday on 3rd of March was not in full swing. Karnataka Chalachitra Academy completely forgot it to continue the birthday of 84 years of Kannada cinema.

However Kichcha Sudeep and team evolved KCA T10 cricket tournament on that day and came before the media and one book on legendary Chi Udayashanker was released = except these two developments on 3rd of March, nothing happened.

KFCC instead of remembering 3rd March invited media to announce stopping of films with effect from 9th of March. The Directors fraternity and Artists fraternity had no programs for 3rd of March.

The ‘Cinema Day’ on birthday of Kannada cinema on March 3 was held by Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy from 2016 via remembering the great contributors. This year no such celebration was held by KCA. Probably because SV Rajendra Singh Babu was tired with the 10th Bengaluru International Film festival held from 22nd February to March 1 in Bengaluru.
