Kannada activists attack hotel where Raghava Lawrence is lodging

The shooting of Raghava Lawrence’s new movie ‘Shivalinga’, directed by P Vasu, was taking place in Mysore for the past couple of weeks. During their stay at a hotel, the film's cast and crew saw the hotel come under attack from stone-pelting mobs during the ongoing unrest triggered by issues related to Cauvery water-sharing dispute.

Following the attack, the hotel's inmates reportedly couldn't come out in view of threat to safety, for many hours.

No one was hurt in the incident.

‘Shivalinga’ is the Tamil remake of the Kannada super hit ‘Shivalinga’ starring Shivarajkumar and Vedhika. Ritika Singh is the heroine while Vadivelu is playing an important role.
