Kannada activists attack hotel where Raghava Lawrence is lodging

The shooting of Raghava Lawrence`s new movie Shivalinga`, directed by P Vasu, was taking place in Mysore for the past couple of weeks. During their stay at a hotel, the film's cast and crew saw the hotel come under attack from stone-pelting mobs during the ongoing unrest triggered by issues related to Cauvery water-sharing dispute.

Following the attack, the hotel's inmates reportedly couldn't come out in view of threat to safety, for many hours.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Shivalinga` is the Tamil remake of the Kannada super hit Shivalinga` starring Shivarajkumar and Vedhika. Ritika Singh is the heroine while Vadivelu is playing an important role.
