Writer-director Vignesh Shivan has told an idiosyncratic love triangle in the form of 'Kanmani Rambo Khatija', the Telugu-dubbed version of a Tamil movie. Both versions are going to hit the screens on April 28.
Produced by 7 Screen Studio and Rowdy Pictures, the film's trailer is a pack of situational humour. Essentially the two female leads, played by an able Samantha and a spirited Nayanthara, are in love with the male lead. Vijay Sethupathi is a good-natured two-timer who at times acts cute.
The references made to Pawan Kalyan's 'Kushi', the iconic 'Baahubali' and the classic 'Titanic' are hilarious.
With music by Anirudh Ravichander, sprightly vibes are writ large over the trailer. SR Kathir and Vijay Karthik Kannan have cranked the camera. Edited by Sreekar Prasad, the film has art work by Shwetha Sebastian. Costumes are by Anu Vardhan, Dinesh Manoharan, and Preetham Jukalker. In a film otherwise filled with lighter scenes, Dhilip Subbarayan has composed the few fun fights that are there. Ravichandran's costumes reflect the middle-class milieu in which the film is set.
