Jayaram's Kanakasimhasanam has edited out its first copy last week. The film planned as a Christmas release will be released in thirty five centres across the state.

The film directed by Rajasenan is a usual comedy family entertainer telling a story in the backdrop of ballet trope. Jayaram appears as Kasargode Kanakambaran, who is the owner and lead actor of Kottaram Theatres, a drama troupe that specializes in epic themes like Ramayanam, Sakunthalam, Vikramadithyan and others.

In all these dramas Kanakambaran plays the lead role of the king and it is always Marthandom Bharathi, his wife played by Karthika who plays the queen. The film also has Janardhanan, Bheeman Raghu, Kalasala Babu, Geetha Salam, Kiran Raj, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Krishnan Warrier, Kochu Preman, Sajan Palluruthy, Saju Kodiyan, Lakshmy Gopalaswami, Subi in prominent roles.

The film is all set to become a hilarious entertainer which will satisfy the viewers in the year end.
