'Kanithan' translated in English is Mathematician has made some massive strategic casting additions.

IndiaGlitz has come to know that the film which has Atharva Murali as the film's lead along side 'Madras' fame Catherine Tresa has roped in two of the biggest names in the Tamil film industry.

IndiaGlitz has learnt that acting legends Sathyaraj and Nassar will be appearing in 'Kanithan'. Their roles are said to be important and will be a driving factor for the film's story.

'Kanithan' is being directed by debutant T. N. Santhosh, a former associate of AR Murugadoss in 'Thuppakki'. The film already has an impressive team with music by Sivamani and cinematography by Arvind Krishna. Editing is being done by Bhuvan Srinivasan and the film is being produced by Kalaipuli. S.
