'Kanguva' Second Poster: Suriya talks about Destiny

Suriya's eagerly awaited film, Kanguva, directed by Siva, has unveiled its captivating second look, featuring two distinct versions of the versatile actor. One visual presents Suriya as a formidable warrior, while the other portrays him as a contemporary individual
Studio Green shared the poster with an intriguing caption, A Destiny Stronger Than Time. The past, present, and future. All echo one name: Kanguva.
Recently, Suriya expressed his emotions after completing his portions of the film, stating, My last shot done for Kanguva! An entire unit filled with positivity! Itâs the finishing of one and the beginning of many..! Thank you dearest director Siva and team for all the memories! Kanguva is huge and special canât wait for you all to see it on screen!.
The film's production spanned over a year, encountering a brief pause when Suriya sustained an injury on set. Prior glimpses and posters released in 2023 built substantial anticipation for the movie. Mounted on a grand scale, Kanguva features Disha Patani as the female lead, marking her debut in Tamil cinema. Director Siva revealed in an earlier interview with CE, The film is set 1500 years ago and uses elements from ancient Tamil culture as well as other cultures from all over India. Kanguva is a fictional story set in an imaginary world with strong historical references and facts.
Siva collaborates once again with cinematographer Vetri Palanisamy, while Milan handles production design and Nishad Yusuf undertakes editing. Backed by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green and UV Creations, Kanguva is anticipated to grace the screens in early 2024, although an official announcement from the team is yet to be made. This film signifies Suriya's 42nd cinematic venture, featuring action sequences choreographed by Supreme Sundar and a script co-written by Narayana. Madhan Karky contributes to the film through his impactful dialogues.
