Few months ago, it was announced that filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma has roped in Kangna Ranaut for his forthcoming dark action drama 'Department'. It was then said that the actress will play lead actor Abhishek Bachchan's wife. However in sudden turn of events, Ranaut is heard to be out of the project.

According to sources, Verma recently felt second thoughts about his choice of actress and so he replaced Kangna with Anjana Sukhani. But nothing is known yet as to what made him to change his mind.

Eventually Anjana said to have done photo shoot for the film recently.

The change of leading lady has come as a surprise as it was Ramu himself who was excited to work with Kangna. In fact he had also stated that it was a wonder how come he didn't work with her before. And now with Anjana on board, there are questions as to what went wrong.

Already 'Department' had been in news for several reasons. Speculations were there about angry Amitabh Bachchan dropping the film following bad remarks on his son Abhishek's performance in 'Dum Maaro Dum' by RGV. Later the director clarified that Big B is very much part of the movie and the allegations were false. However later Abhishek was replaced by Rana Duggabatti. And now with Anjana's entry, 'Department' has given even more scope for grapevines to churn out rumours.

We wonder, what's actually happening in Verma's 'department'....
