Controversial director Samy who spoke about the lust of a sister-in-law for her husband's brother in ‘Uyir’, AIDS in ‘Mirugam’, and again the taboo sexual relationship between a father-in-law and his daughter- in- law in ‘Sindhu Samaveli’ has this time discarded all controversial issues and is focusing on the love of caring mothers in his ‘Kangaroo’.

‘Kangaroo’’s music is by singer Srinivas and lyrics is by Vairamuthu. A.R.Rahman released the audio of the film a few months back. The film stars Arjuna,Varsha Ashwathi,Priyanka,Ganja Karuppu,Thambi Ramiah, R. Sundarrajan and Kalabhavan Mani. ‘Kangaroo’ is a V House Productions presentation.
