Rangoli, Kangana Ranaut's sister, has waded into the ongoing 'Manikarnika' controversy. Earlier in the week, director Krish Jagarlamudi claimed that Kangana turned his golden film into silver by reshooting several portions.
In a WhatsApp message to Krish, Kangana argued on December 6 (last year) that certain portions had to be reshot only because what Krish had done previously was not up to the mark. Saying that she never rewrote the film, Kangana claims in the WhatsApp message that the producers had to spend an extra Rs 20 Cr on the production works (due to the reshoots for 45 days).
Kangana says that the reshot film was liked by the producers.
In another screenshot posted by Rangoli, the Bollywood actress is seen telling Vijayendra Prasad (the film's writer and Rajamouli's father) that some of the action portions shot by Krish had a number of "blunders".
"Krish did everything to ruin the film, took film’s cinematographer away, didn’t let any of Assistant Directors from the previous team to work with Kangana, he didn’t support anyone in the team and now he is saying Manikarnika is his baby," Rangoli writes.
