Coinciding with the 48th anniversary of the state of emergency declaration, the announcement video creates buzz around the film, which sheds light on Indira Gandhi's life. Audiences can mark their calendars for November 24, 2023, to witness this significant chapter on the big screen.

Taking the directorial reins and starring in the film, Kangana expresses her gratitude towards the talented ensemble cast, including late Satish, Anupam Kher, Shreyas, Mahima, and Milind, for embarking on this creative journey together. She emphasizes the importance of acquainting the youth with the crucial story of Emergency.

'Emergency' also features Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Vishak Nair, and Shreyas Talpade in prominent roles. Indira Gandhi, the country's third Prime Minister and the only female to hold the position to date, was the daughter of India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.
