Kangana Ranaut is a leading actress in bollywood and she also paired alongside Jayam Ravi in the film 'Dhaam Dhoom' and joined hands with AL Vijay for her upcoming trilingual 'Thalaivi'.
The much-anticipated film is a biopic of J Jayalalithaa, one of the country's most powerful politicians. According to the latest news the Tamil version of the impending political thriller has received a clean 'U' certificate.
Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh R Singh are producing the film, which will be distributed in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The Hindi and Telugu versions of the film is expected to be censored in the following days.
Thalaivi is directed by AL Vijay also has Arvind Swami as AIADMK leader MGR. The film's music is being composed by GV Prakash. The film, which follows the life of former actress and late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, was originally scheduled to be released on April 23, but was postponed owing to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The most recent information is that the film will be released in August, with the release date to be revealed as soon as the COVID-19 curfew is relaxed.
