On September 9, the Mumbai local body BMC infamously demolished a part of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut's office building on a short notice. The 'Panga' actress was out of town at that time. She moved the Bombay High Court for justice.
On Friday, the HC said that the BMC acting against Kangana is nothing but malice in law. It sympathized with the actress in the demolition case. The Shiv Sena government is believed to have harassed the 'Manikarnika' actress because she had been criticizing Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray over the Sushant Singh Rajput case.
"When an individual stands against the government and wins, it’s not the victory of the individual but it’s the victory of the democracy. Thank you, everyone, who gave me courage, and thanks to those who laughed at my broken dreams. It's only because you play a villain so I can be a HERO (sic)," the 'Queen' actress wrote on Twitter, welcoming the verdict.
