In a recent podcast with ANI, Chirag Paswan discussed his Mile Na Mile Hum co-star Kangana Ranaut, noting that she isn't "politically correct most of the time," which he finds her unique selling point. Even if it's not always politically right, he underlined that Kangana understands what to say and when to say it.
When asked whether Kangana could change things as an MP, Chirag said her capacity to express her opinion was a great advantage. Although her remarks can be controversial, he said they help her appeal.
Chirag also recalled seeing Kangana outside Parliament in June, an event caught and posted extensively on social media. He said he was looking forward to seeing her in Parliament and that they had lost contact from their hectic schedules.
Chirag smiled and claimed she didn't need any advice when asked if he had any for Kangana on her presentations. Recently victorious in the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh, Kangana made her Lok Sabha debut as a BJP legislator by defeating Congress's Vikramaditya Singh.
When looking back, Chirag brought up their work on his debut movie, Mile Na Mile Hum, in 2011. Chirag moved into politics following his time in the movies.
Set to feature as the principal actress, writer, director, and producer of the film Emergency, Kangana is scheduled to premiere on September 6 Produced by Zee Studios and Ranaut's Manikarnika Films, the movie also stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and late Satish Kaushik.
