Alia Bhatt's long awaited film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' finally released couple days back and recieved an amazing response from fans and critics. Soon after it came out, several Bollywood stars took to social media to appreciate the film and Alia's performance in it. Even Kangana Ranaut, who was quite negative about the film earlier, praised it in a cryptic Instagram story.

She shared that she did not expect "movie mafia" to make such a good film. Kangana's statement read, "Happy to hear theatres are being revived in South film industry with record-breaking collections. I hear some baby steps are being taken in Hindi belt also. With recent female centric film which has a big hero and a super star director. They may be baby steps but they are not insignificant. They will be crucial for theatres which are on ventilators here. Great.”

She concluded by saying, "Never expected that movie mafia will rise to the occasion and do something good. If they do we will be absolutely appreciative. Hoping for the best."

Few days back, Kangana had expressed her displeasure towards the film and predicted that it will be a box office failure.
