Kangana Ranaut's Tejas Trailer Soars, Showcasing India's Aerial Action Spectacle

On the occasion of Indian Air Force Day, the Tejas team unveiled the long-awaited trailer for the film, promising an action-packed experience. Tejas, directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, stars Kangana Ranaut in the lead role and is set to hit theaters on October 27. The film revolves around the inspiring journey of Tejas Gill, an Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot, aiming to instill a deep sense of pride in every Indian. It highlights the dedication and challenges faced by IAF pilots as they tirelessly defend the nation.
The trailer, touted as 'India's first aerial action movie,' opens with IAF fighter jets in combat. It unfolds the story of an Indian spy captured in Pakistan, with Kangana volunteering for a daring rescue mission. Her unwavering commitment to the country shines through as she overcomes numerous obstacles, emphasizing the importance of combat on the battlefield.
Sharing the trailer on X (formerly Twitter), Kangana wrote, Now the enemy will be attacked from the sky, this is the Bharat that will not relent if you provoke it!
Tejas, initially scheduled for a December 2020 release, is set in 2016 when the IAF made history by inducting women into combat roles. The film celebrates the courage of a fearless female fighter pilot. Kangana Ranaut underwent four months of intensive training to master the special combat techniques used by the Indian forces, marking her debut as a soldier on the silver screen.
Speaking about the project, Kangana Ranaut expressed her pride in portraying an Air Force pilot and hoped the film would inspire patriotism and pride among today's youth. She looks forward to this journey with director Sarvesh and producer Ronnie.
