Actress Kangana Ranaut's ambitious action thriller 'Dhaakad' was supposed to have a blast on box office and pave a way for more female centric blockbusters in future. Unfortunately, the film turned out to be a disaster as it could manage to mint only 3.7 crores on box office against its 95 crore rupees budget. However, Kangana hasn't lost hope and she still believes that 2022 is going to be her year.
Recently, she shared a news article on her Instagram story which termed her as the "box office queen of India" and wrote, "2019 I have Manikarnika 160 crore ka supehit film. 2020 was Covid year, 2021 I have biggest film of my career, Thalaivii, which came on OTT and was huge success.”
Referring to her reality web show 'Lock Upp', Kangana shared, "I see lots of curated negativity but 2022 is the year of blockbuster Lock Upp and it’s not over yet. I have great hopes with it." As of now, Kangana is focusing her attention on the pre-production of her upcoming film 'Emergency'. Apart from that she will soon be seen playing a fighter pilot in 'Tejas'.
