Actress Kangana Ranaut often keeps herself in news by making bold and rather controversial statements every now and then. Few days back, she had lashed out on a journalist who asked her a question regarding Deepika Padukone and now she has indirectly called Deepika's latest film, 'Gehraiyaan', trash.

'Gehraiyaan' was released on Amazon Prime Video on 11th and it follows a tale of messed up and interconnected relationships between four characters. Ever since its trailer release, 'Gehraiyaan' became a talking point regarding its depiction of modern relationships and tonnes of intimate scenes.

Kangana took to her Instagram stories to slam the film by indirectly calling it "trash" and "pornographic". She shared a clip from a vintage Bollywood movie and wrote, "I am also a millennial but I identify and understand this kind of romance ... in the name of millennial/new age/urban movies don't sell trash pls ... bad movies are bad movies no amount of skin show or pornography can _ save it ... it's a basic fact koi gehraiyaan wali baat nahi hai (there is no depth in it)."
