Getting banned from Twitter hasn't stopped Kangana Ranaut from voicing her opinions on other social media platforms. Recently, she shared her issues with the name of the country. Kangana believes that name 'India' is a symbol of slave mindset and we cannot grow if we do not drop it and change it to 'Bharat'.
Kangana shared random incorrect origins about the words 'Bharat' and 'India' on her Facebook page and demanded the name to be changed. She wrote, "British gave us slave name India, which literally means east of Indus Valley, Really would u call a child small nose or second born or worse C section. What kind of name is this ? So rudimentary. Let me tell you meaning of Bharat. It’s made of three Sanskrit words :
भा - (भाव)
र - ( राग )
त - ( ताल)
Yes, that’s who we were before we were enslaved, most culturally and aesthetically evolved civilisation. Every name has vibration and British knew this they not only gave new names to places but even to people and important monuments . We must regain our lost glory. Let’s start with the name भारत ????"
Anyone with a little knowledge about the origin of our country can tell that her post makes no sense at all. Few netizens even pointed out that changing names won't contribute to the actual progress and we should focus on things which actually matter.
