Actress Kangana Ranaut has been using Instagram stories after getting banned from Twitter to voice her opinion. The actress failed to pay her last year's taxes and in her recent instagram story, she shared the reason behind it. Kangana also claimed to be the highest tax paying actress and shared that she was unable to pay the taxes cause of no work.

She wrote, "Even though I come under highest tax slab pay almost 45 percent of my income as tax, even though I am the highest tax paying actress but because of no work haven’t paid half of my last year’s tax yet.”

She further added, “first time in my life I am late in paying tax but the government is charging me interest on that pending tax money," adding, "still I welcome this move, time could be tough for us individually but together we are tougher than the time."

Kangana has several films under production which include 'Thalaivi', 'Tejas', and 'Dhaakad'
