It's been over four years since Kangana Ranaut came up with a hit movie to her credit, but the actor doesn't seem to be concerned about it. When compared to Shah Rukh Khan, who is still considered a 'last generation star' and hasn't had many hits since 'Pathaan', Kangana appears unconcerned.
According to Kangana, the OTT platforms don't churn out stars, and she feels that they and Shah Rukh continue to be sought-after faces in the industry. Notwithstanding the debacle of her recent theatrical release "Tejas" at the box office and others like "Judgemental Hai Kya," "Thalaivii," "Dhakad," and "Chandramukhi 2," Kangana is all gung-ho.
Kangana opines, "Is there any actor in the world who doesn't have his ups and downs?" as Shah Rukh bounces back after a decade of setbacks and turns in hits like "Pathaan," "Jawan," and "Dunki. She shares her personal story and says, "It was followed by a series of flops, but then came big hits like 'Manikarnika' and the upcoming film 'Emergency,' set for June 14, 2024.
Not only this, but she is also gearing herself up to contest the Lok Sabha election from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi constituency on the BJP ticket. She is also looking forward to her film "Emergency," in which she plays the role of India's former Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi.
