Following the untimely death of Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput, actress Kangana Ranaut has slammed Bollywood film industry and the media for wrongly handling Sushant Singh Rajput’s issues,in an angry video she has released today.

Kangana came down heavily against the Bollywood film industry for the way it treated Sushant and also the media which projected that Sushant had a weak mind which lead to his death by suicide. Her video was captioned “It is important to give people their due. And if celebrities are struggling with personal and mental health issues, the media should try and emphasize with them, rather than making it difficult for them;".

Kangana said that Sushant was a rank holder who did not have a weak mind and quoting a post where Sushant requested people to watch his movies as he didn’t have a godfather, Kangana said that despite doing good movies he didn't receive any recognition like the star-kids of the industry. She slammed media reports calling Sushant an addict, and said that the same media made Sanjay Dutt's addiction cute. She attacked people telling her not to take extreme steps like Sushant that they're the people planting thoughts of suicide in her mind and said what happened to Sushant was a planned murder and not death by suicide. Kangana ended her video saying that Sushant must have believed his mother's words and not the words of those who called him worthless.
