Apart from being a consistently good actress, Kangana Ranaut is known for her straight forward and unfiltered opinions about current events related to political or entertainment world. Recently, she took to her Instagram stories to share a word of appreciation for "rich Bollywood actresses" who are marrying men younger than them. She believes that such examples are necessary in today's world as they challange the age old sexist norms prevalent in the society.

Kangana's statement read, "Growing up, we heard many stories of successful rich men marrying much younger women… For women to be more successful than their husband was seen as a major crisis, forget marrying a younger man after a certain age, marriage was impossible for women …. Nice to see rich and successful women, leading ladies of Indian film industry breaking the sexist norms…. Kudos to men and women both for redefining gender stereotype.”

This could be in reference to actress Katrina Kaif's wedding with Vicky Kaushal who is around five years younger than her. Apart from them, actress Priyanka Chopra also got married to Nick Jonas who is 10 years younger than her.
