Sun Risers Hyderabad appoint new captain in place of David Warner

Sun Risers Hyderabad team has announced that Kane Williamson will lead the side instead of David Warner who has been banned from all forms of cricket following the ball tampering scandal in South Africa.  

Williamson, the New Zealand Captain and one of the highest rated batsmen in the world currently has stated in social media " "I've accepted the role to stand in as captain for this season," . "It's an exciting opportunity with a talented group of players. I look forward to the challenges ahead."  The SRH will be playing their first match of IPL 2018 on the 9th of April against Rajasthan Royals.
