The most awaited film of Ram is 'Kandireega' directed by a novice Santosh Srinivas and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh on the banner of Sri Sai Ganesh Productions, had completed its shooting recently and the producer is making efforts to release the film in August. The audio of the film released recently. Join us to discover how the songs, lyrics and music in this film. It may not be wrong to mention that the music director Thaman failed to show any novelty in the tunes and most of them looked quite familiar. Gentle Man Listen here Artist: Ranjith Of course, the song was tuned in a quite energetic way and it is a peppy number too. However, the song reminds us of the old tunes given by Thamas in earlier films. Rajit voice too had become very familiar with such songs and there is no novelty. The saving grace is the lyric by Bhaskarabhatla who filled the philosophy in the lyric. It is the modern version for 'Aadavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule' song in one stanza. Another stanza contains the modern for the famous Sumati Satakam poem 'Vinadagunevvaru cheppina'. The music director composed the tune with a rhythmic drum beat and had a lot of scope for showing the dancing skills of the hero. May be it could be the introduction song of the hero. Champakamala Listen here Artists: Karthik, Suchitra This is a soothing number from Thaman. Though the song begins with rap music using English words crooned by the music director himself, the song slowly takes off in a melodious voice of Karthik and Suchitra too joined her in the same passion. The tune had a mix of western style with rap in the middle and the Telugu classical tune too. Of course this tune too reminds the audiences of the earlier albums of Thaman like 'Mirapakay' and 'Anjaneyulu'. The use of key board / piano, with a rhythmic drum beat is quite pleasing to the ears and makes the listener to tap their feet. Naakodithey Listen here Artists: Naveen, MLR. Karthikeyan, Aalap Raju, Ranjith, Ranina Reddy & Dharshana This song is quite loud. May be it is a group song and mass masala number. The music director chose to use trumpet and drums to fill energy in the song. The singers too rendered the song in a mass beat. However, in one angle, song appears to have the Tamil scent and such songs and lyric are most popular in Tamil and dubbed films. Bhaskarabhatla penned the song with lots of twists and this is also a routine number by Thaman and had no novelty. Angelina Listen here Artists: Ranjith, Ranina Reddy, Suchitra This tune was given a western-style and it has the fast beat and no doubt, the listener had to tap his feet unexpectedly. This time, Thaman not only used the trumpet and drums but also bass guitar and electronic guitar to make the song more energetic. The music director tuned the song in a peppy manner and Ramajogaiah Sastry gave a mass lyric though the song was tuned in western beat. But for the energetic voice of Ranjit and Ranina, the song has noting to boast off. The lyricist filled the song with Telugu and English words in this lyric indiscriminately to make it a youthful song. Singer to maintained the same tempo to make the audiences to tap the feet. Premey Listen here Artists: Ranjith, Hemachandra, Deepu, MLR Karthikeyan, Revanth Kumar, Geetha Madhuri, Bindu, Mahima, Shravana Bhargavi This number must be a situational song in a function where a group of family members and friends gathered. This song too was tuned in a mass masala fashion. The lyric was quite confusing, but the huge number of singers made the song like a cacophony. Of course, the director must have asked the music director and the lyricist to pump in some fun element, the song has loud voice and nothing interesting. May be the choreography of the song would justify the loudness of the tunes. It is also a routine commercial formula number with rhythmic drum beats. Not so attractive to listen. |
