In a shocking incident, a 27-year-old TV journalist was hacked to death outside his home by drug peddlers in Kancheepuram on Sunday night. The journalist was identified as Isravel Moses and four persons namely Venkatesan, Vignesh, and Manoj have been arrested on charge of murder and another person Navamani for plotting.

Reportedly, on Sunday around 10 pm, Moses got a call came out of his house and after some time Moses screamed and hearing this, his father and a neighbours rushed and found him lying in a pool of blood. Moses was rushed to Government Hospital in Chromepet but unfortunately was declared dead on arrival.

As per police reports, the arrested people who murdered Moses were members of a gang which did land encroachment and drug dealing. Moses worked for the news channel Thamizhan TV and due to him exposing many social issues had been receiving threats.
