Kanche

Krish has a knack for directing films with strong content and right from the start of his career, he has chosen a different path. Whether it is his Gamyam or Vedam or Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, all of them have interesting story lines with strong messages.

Now he made a film in the backdrop of World War II, which is never touched by Telugu filmmaker earlier. This film, titled 'Kanche' has Varun Tej and Pragya Jaiswal playing the leads. 'Chennai Express' fame Nikithin Dheer plays the baddie.

A lot of research has gone into the movie.  Real guns and war machines used in World War II were used for this movie and the film has been shot exotic locations of Georgia taking the permission of the government. If the trailer is anything to go by, the film is going to have a beautiful love story and very good war sequences. Sirivennela Seetharamasastry's lyrics were profound and tells that the director has related village feuds to war. The line "Yuddham lonu Prema Untundhi...Ekkadaina Prema Yuddham Laagaane untundhi" ("There is love in war and anywhere love is like a war") by Sai Madhav Burra tells how the film is going to be. Krish's father Jagarlamudi Sai Babu Jagarlamudi and Y.Rajeev Reddy are producing this film on First Frame Entertainments banner.Chirantan Bhatt's music is going to be another highlight of this film, which is scheduled for a Diwali release.
